The New Central and University Hospital of Madeira is already taking shape, and, in fact, the third phase of the project has just been launched - which will include general infrastructure, finishes and technical installations - with start-up scheduled for June 2026.

After digging 4,600 meters from Campolide, passing through all the interception works (Liberdade Avenue, Sta Marta Street, and Almirante Reis Avenue), the tunnel boring machine "Oli" reached the discharge structure (Santa Apolónia). Afterwards, it will be placed in Beato to start a new excavation front.

NRV has a major addition to its pavement monitoring capabilities: SCRIM (sideway-force Coefficient Routine Investigation Machine), a state-of-the-art equipment that, in addition to making it possible to evaluate the skid resistance in pavements with a solution patented by WDM (UK), it also evaluates the macrotexture with laser devices and collects sequential high resolution images.
