Established in 1987, with headquarters in Vila Real - Portugal, NRV is the parent company of Norvia group, an engineering consulting company that develops its activity on several levels, from multidisciplinary engineering studies to supervision and global project management.
The group ensures a wide range of services, in feasibility studies, in assembly of public-private partnerships articulating the legal and financial components, in detailed designs, in construction supervision and quality control and in audit, monitoring and implementation of conservation management systems.
Acting in areas such as Transport Engineering, Airports, Ports and Maritime Works, Buildings and Structures, Urban Infrastructures and Basic Sanitation, Urban and Regional Planning, with its own expertise for geotechnical engineering and quality control, pavement monitoring, traffic and road safety, production of cartography, topography and geometric control.

The reconstruction work on Pontão de Santa Maria, on Sal Island, Cape Verde, has already begun. This pier, which is a symbol of the island – and considered a meeting point for tourists and locals, artisans and fishermen – is gradually taking on a new shape.

The New Central and University Hospital of Madeira is already taking shape, and, in fact, the third phase of the project has just been launched - which will include general infrastructure, finishes and technical installations - with start-up scheduled for June 2026.
